(i) Candidates who have passed the H.S.L.C. Examination of the
Board of Secondary Education, Assam , or any other examination
considered equivalent by the Higher Secondary Council (10+2)
are eligible for admission to the Higher Secondary course
subject to the availability of seats.
(ii) Admission to the college is made strictly in order of
merit and is governed by college admission rules.
(iii) The decision of the admission committee regarding
admission will be final. The college reserves the right to
refuse admission to any one without assigning any reason
thereof.
Candidates selected must get themselves admitted on the day of
interview by making necessary payment failing which they will
forfeit their claim.
(iv) An application form which is not submitted by the
stipulated date or is not completely filled up shall not be
entertained. The filled-up admission forms must be submitted
along with attested copies of mark sheets and certificates.
All candidates seeking admission must appear for interview on
the scheduled date in person or through his/her
representative. Candidates shall have to produce the following
documents and articles at the time of interview.
(i) Original Admit Card of the H.S.L.C. Examination for age
verification.
(ii) Original Mark Sheet of the last examination appeared.
(iii) Two copies of passport-size photograph of the candidate.
(iv) S.C./S.T./O.B.C./M.O.B.C. certificate along with the
attested Photostat copy of the same, if necessary.
(v) Proficiency certificate regarding extra-curricular
activities where necessary.
Certificate below district level representation will not be
entertained.
(vi) Registration Card.
(vii) In case of a student migrating from another university
or board, an eligibility certificate obtained from the
university or board, as the case may be, has to be produced.
(viii) Pass certificate from the Headmaster/Principal of the
institution, last attended by the candidate.
(ix) H.S. and T.D.C. first year students who fail to get
promotion to the next higher class, may apply for admission
along fresh application.
Reservations of Seats:
Reservation of seats for students belonging to SC. ST. OBC, (M.OBC),
etc. will be accordingly to the existing rules of the
Government).
